SEEKING CLOSURE FOR LACY BUNCH AND FAMILY 12/20/2020- BELL STREET ENFIELD NC

Around 630AM on 12/20/2020 72 year-old Lacy Bunch disappeared from his residence. Family members state that they heard Bunch leave the residence around 630am that morning. They soon realized that he was missing when his shoes were left behind.

It was 36 degrees that morning and Lacy left without shoes.

Video surveillance in the area does not show him walking anywhere near the residence around the time of his disappearance. There have been multiple attempts to find Lacy with search dogs behind the residence which is covered by thick brush. Each search turned up empty.

Halifax County Sheriff's Office has worked hard to find Lacy since his disappearance, searching the woods, a nearby pond and reviewing camera footage in the area.

Lacy started having bouts of dementia around a year before his disappearance and episodes saying he was hearing things or he would get very belligerent which was not his normal behavior.
