CASE OF 15 YEAR OLD SHOT AND KILLED IN ROCKY MOUNT STILL UNSOLVED

REWARD UP TO $15,000 OFFERED FOR INFORMATION THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF THE SUSPECT(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CRIME

BRIAN TYRIK FREEMAN 15, was killed while walking to a friends house on the 700 block of Highland Ave in Rocky Mount around midnight on January 18th, 2014.

RMPD was called to a scene at 723 Highland Ave , Rocky Mount at 12:13am on 1/18/2014. When RMPD arrived they found Brian laying in a yard on the corner of Highland and Woodland Ave. EMS was on scene and advised that he had passed.

There were several 9mm casings found at the scene. A 14 yr old juvenile was with Brian as he was walking and stated that a brown or tan Toyota Camry drove by them and the occupant started firing shots. The 14 yr old ran for cover, Brian was not able to escape the shots.
